A great win by Sandie Rooke and Alan Davies at the Swiss Pairs event on 22 March.
They were hotly followed by Marieta Borthwick and Vivien Eldridge and Terry and Lois Rothwell who came equal second.
It was such a well organised and fun evening with 13 tables, despite the torrential rain during the early part of the night. We were lucky to have Joan Butts to introduce the evening and point out the different aspects of play and scoring when taking part in an IMPs scoring event like Swiss Pairs.
The full results can be found (for a while at least) on our Results page.

Congratulations to Sue Falkingham on becoming an ABF accredited teacher, Peninsula's second member to be so recognised.
Today, Joan Butts, the ABF teaching coordinator, came to Peninsula and presented Sue with her certificate.
