Congratulations to Jenny and Max Paterson who came second in Category D in this Intermediates Championship which was part of the recent Gold Coast Congress.

Congratulations to several of our club members who are among the highest ranked players in the ABF 2024 McCutcheon awards and to Sachiko Cathcart who is the winner in the Bronze Life Master masterpoint category.

About 20 club members attended parts of this congress with varying degrees of success. Congratulations to Sandy Carter and Nerida Gillies who came second in the TBIB U750 / U500 Swiss Pairs (first and second placed pairs were both U500).

Congratulations to John Mitchell and Steve Marton who came first in the 25 - 50 MP category and second overall. They win a cash prize. Also to Ian Hobbs and Diane Garstang who came third in the 25 - 50 MP category and tenth overall. They all win a subscription to Australian Bridge magazine.

This was held on Sun 8 Dec and was a great success with 102 people attending. See some photos here (click the four little squares in the top right corner to show thumbnails). If you open one, you can then use left and right arrows or swipe to move to the next one.
