From when we start playing in Unit 9, 5 Vuko Pl, we will offer, at the bottom of the Session Booking Sheet, the option to book one of the club’s 12 numbered parking spots in the shared 5 Vuko Place car park.
Our policy is that these spots should be used first by our less mobile players, second by those with ongoing car-pooling arrangements and that our more mobile players should use the generally available street parking. There may be unused spots available for our less well patronised sessions, such as our evening games.
These cells at the bottom of the booking sheet will be released at the same time as the session bookings. You make a booking by putting your ABF# in the usual way. You need to take note of the number of the spot you have booked and only park in it.
If you have a reserved parking spot, you should not arrive more than 30 minutes before the start of the session if there is a session finishing before yours. This allows time for that session’s players to leave. If you are playing in the morning session, you must leave in good time if there is an afternoon session.
Do not drive into the car park unless you have a booking or are dropping people off or picking them up.
We remind you that parking in the spots of other tenants will cause us to have problems with our neighbours - which the club wants to avoid - so please do not do so.
If you have a parking booking, you should get a notification of this as part of the reminder email sent the day before.
If you end up not playing or not needing a booking, please remove it ASAP. Bookings for a spot where the member is not booked in to play will be removed on the morning before by the administrator, but earlier removal by you would be helpful.
Where we have > 1 section for a session in the booking sheet - EG Wednesday mornings, since we have only one set of parking spots, these will be booked in the cells under the first section - but can be booked by players in all the sections.
One spot (63, by the entrance) will usually be reserved for the director and the administrator will also put in the bookings for ongoing car poolers (needs the driver and 2+ other players). Contact
Special needs parking (4 level access spots) are being managed separately - contact Mike Gibb. These will be allocated as per the Club's Policy on mobility.
These are the initial arrangements and may change. Please advise any concerns or suggestions to a committee member.
