Peninsula Bridge Club is a not-for-profit incorporated association run by its members to promote and support the game of bridge and their members' enjoyment of this game.
It values its member and player information highly and uses it to assist the club meet its objectives.
In particular:
- The club does not provide member details to others unless this is as part of a service that the club receives from that party - such as the Australian Bridge Federation and Pianola.
- The club maintains its member, player and other records on cloud-based services such as offered by Pianola and Google - members are able to control which parts of their contact/other information on Pianola is accessible by other members via the member Pianola interface.
- Access to confidential elements is restricted by password protection to those with a relevant club role.
- The club respects members' requests to not publish their contact details in the Club Diary and/or in the formally required Register of Members.
- Members' names are published on the internet as part of our bridge session results, and on the Australian Bridge Federation masterpoints website.
