Image of event flier template

The event and lesson flier templates in this folder are in Word (.docx) and/or Google Docs format, and contain sample text as well as the club's visual branding and Roboto font. are editable as appropriate. Updated or additional templates can be uploaded by Vivien or David. The Word format docs all embed the Club's Roboto font (hence the large files sizes) so that you do not need to download and install it on your computer.

If you want to use Word, you can download the relevant Word template by right clicking on it and then selecting the Save As option. This will allow you to then edit the flier template as you wish on your computer.

The flier templates are available in both colour and black and white formats each using the appropriate logo. To use both colour for posters and black and white for the same event/lessons you will need to copy and paste the event/lesson details from one format to the other.

Once you have selected and opened your flier template, save it as an appropriately named file in your working folder or ideally in the shared folder for that event in our Public folders on our Google Drive (you may need updated permissions to save to this shared Drive).

Once you have finalised your template you will probably want to save it as a PDF for electronic use and also print it.

A way to print an A4 Word document as 2 A5 fliers to a page is as follows (thanks to Bob Whiddon):

  1. In Word's Print dialog box change the 'Page Range' from "All" to "Pages: 1,1".
  2. Set 'Pages per Sheet' set to 2.
  3. Your A4 page is now perfectly printed as 2 A5 pages, side by side on a single A4 sheet ready for guillotining.

A way to print an A4 PDF document as 2 A5 fliers to a page is as follows:

  3. Go to https://docupub.com/pdfmerge/, choose your A5 file twice and click on Merge.
