Many members of the club will remember Patricia MacDougal who was a member until 2017 and who recently turned 100 on the 10th of August. Congratulations and our best wishes.

10th of August marks a special day for Pat MacDougal as it marked her 100th birthday.  Born 1920 she has lived through a century of tremendous change.

She joined Mona vale Golf Club in 1971 and was a keen golfer who loved the ladies days and events. She played in representative teams, served on the ladies committee and continued to play into her mid 80's.

Other highlights and services to golf include a hole in 1 on the 17th, playing some mixed foursomes with a young David Christey ( learning experience), and making the current club captain walk home after he swore and threw his club on the course at age 16yrs. Valuable lesson that!!

Recently Pat has been in residence at Marcus Loan House Warriewood and is recovering from recent hip surgery following a fall.

Her regular ladies lunches at the club with the "old crew" have been on hold during the Covid 19 restrictions. At her 100th celebration she commented on the fond memories she had of her days at MVGC. She hopes to return when recovered.

Congratulations Pat!
