Nine teams battled for the 2020 Club Teams Championship over three weeks in November, with congratulations to the Smith team (Linda Abbenbroek, Jan McLennan, Anne Small and Lyn Smith) who emerged triumphant ahead of the Whiddon team (Alan Davies, Vivien Eldridge, David Farmer and Cath Whiddon) and the Treasure team (Yvonne Perkins, Lois Rothwell, Terry Rothwell and Leslie Treasure). For many competitors this was the first time back to the clubhouse - it was good to see them there.
Our external director, Ronnie Ng, ran an American Whist teams movement ensuring that all teams played each other over the three weeks. This was new to many players but proved to be a good choice with 9 teams over three sessions. However it proved too much for our normal website results display service.
