Congratulations to John Simmonds, Sachiko Cathcart, Susan Eason and Simon Hunter who won the Teams event on 18th June. Sandy Carter and Nerida Gillies and two non-members came second just behind.
In the interest of full disclosure, they actually were placed second but the first placed team was a NSBC fill-in team to make up the number of teams to 8 and ineligible to win.
John and Sachiko played very well and were the third placed pair, a performance unable to be matched by Susan and Simon!
Sandy and Nerida also did well and were the fourth placed pair and their team-mates fifth.
On the Sunday it was Swiss Pairs and Sandy and Nerida did very well coming fourth in a field of 20.
Sachiko and John and Steve Marton and John Mitchell also played.
