Congratulations to Jenny and Max Paterson who came second in Category D in this Intermediates Championship which was part of the recent Gold Coast Congress.
Sandy Carter and Nerida Gillies were in Group A coming 22nd.
Trish Berry and Sachiko Cathcart were also in Group D coming 6th.
This event was not run as Swiss Pairs. It had 138 pairs entered and the first two rounds of 27 boards were played as one field. This seeded the players resulting in 5 groups of 14 tables which each played three rounds to find the winning pair in each group.
This large event also had Open, Restricted and Novice fields.
