Joan Butts will be running four one-hour workshops on various types of Doubles In November.
Two on Tuesday, 27 Nov, 2.30-4.30pm and two on Wednesday 28 Nov, 9.30-11.30am.
There will be a 10 minute break between the two sessions on each day so that you can come and stay or come and go - and choose precisely what aspect of doubles you would like to learn/refresh.
A Double is used in many situations.....both by the side that opens the bidding and the side that is competing. Learn how to use the Double effectively by coming to these Joan Butts workshops.
As the topic is so wide and varied, we have adopted a new format for presenting these workshops. You can come and stay or come and go to each module. The Wednesday workshops are more advanced and will build on the lessons from the previous day.
On Tuesday 27th November, the topics covered will be:
- 2.30pm Doubler’s partner needs to be accurate
- 3.30pm Doubler’s next move
On Wednesday 28th November, the topics will be:
- 9.30am Negative Doubles
- 10.30am Support Doubles
