Congratulations to the Duggin team consisting of Chris, Jocelyn Bertram, Cath Whiddon and Anne Small to win the State Open Teams. The Scotford team came 2nd with the Davies team 3rd.
PBC is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year and would like to invite all members for a FREE session of bridge and a spectacular lunch. All members are welcome to attend this fun filled day on Saturday 3rd September. We will be starting the day at 10am sharp with a session of bridge and then lunch at 1pm.

We had a great turnout of 32 teams for the Swiss Teams Congress at Peninsula on Sunday. There were some very impressive names in the field. John McIlrath did a splendid job of directing on the day. The Hans team consisting of Sartaj Hans, Fraser Rew, Sophie Ashton and Susan Humphries were unbeatable with 7 wins. Coming in 2nd place was the Bock team with Steven Bock, John Newman, Derrick Browne and Joshua Wyner and in 3rd place the Sharp team with Marilyn Chadwick, Toni Sharp, Liz Fanos and George Finikiotis. Best Peninsula team was the Bertram team that did extremely well and came 5th with Jocelyn Bertram, Chris Duggin, Margaret and Michael Draper. The best restricted team was the Fawcett team with Fiona Fawcett, Michelle Levy, Kerry Rymer & Kit Meyers. Congratulations to all these teams. Click here for the full results.
On Monday 2nd May the Peninsula Bridge Club is having a fun filled day in support of Bridge for Brains. Jo Jarvis has put together two huge hampers of goodies to raffle on the day. We encourage all members to support the club on this day and enjoy a game of bridge and afternoon tea. If you would like to contribute towards the afternoon tea, please do. Peninsula Bridge Club is hosting a Swiss Teams Congress on Sunday 24th April at 10am. There are two sections, open, and a restricted/novice section (if enough numbers). This is a red point day with prize money for both sections plus best Peninsula team. Put together a team for a fun day directed by John McIlrath.
