Congratulations to Team Carter Gillies Cathcart Simmonds who won the U300 Swiss Teams at the Canberra Summer Festival of Bridge.
Jim Stewart and partner came second in the Two Days Pairs.
Quite a few club players also played.
Not only did the team win their group but also came third in the complete field U500 / U750 (which ran in one section with 22 teams). They played 9 x 20 board matches over 3 days.
Sachiko and John did well in the U300/750 Swiss Pairs coming 12th (also run in one section with 54 pairs).
