The Club strongly encourages players to use and show system cards at sessions.
As you learn and become more experienced from Practice Play, you will use our Green / Basic System Card as the basis for your bidding and play.
As you progress further, a good idea is to use the ABF system card. Filling it in is a great way to discuss, agree and record your system with your partner.
This link shows a starter version of the ABF system card that is equivalent to our Green / Basic System Card and that you can download and use and update as your system evolves. You have to download it and then you can edit it on your PC in Acrobat. The Director should be able to give you a paper copy of this card.
This is a 'smart' pdf document that you can use to document each of your partnership agreements. As you hover the cursor over a field, a popup is often displayed showing predefined choices you can use - type in the number of one of the choices presented and the field will be completed; or you can edit it free form.
It is easy to edit and so change as your system changes or to create a copy if you start playing with someone different. You can print it at home, in monochrome if you like. HINT: it prints better with Fit rather than Actual Size setting. Once it is stable, you might like to consider getting it printed somewhere like Officeworks on heavy weight paper. Alternatively the club has preprinted blank copies on heavy paper for sale @ 50c.
