Want to add a bit of spice to your online bridge? Missing our special events? These two trial ladder events might be just what you are looking for:
- Play as a pair against seven other pairs in a round-robin - arrange a mutually convenient time
- Play two 20 board matchpoint games each week
- One event is Open and the other is Novice (<100MPs)
How to join? First read the Play Online guide and make sure you have used its form to register your BBO username and contact details. Then simply enter you and your partner's names and BBO usernames in either the Open or Novice event list. There is only room for eight pairs in each event so act fast and avoid missing out.
Then what? Check out the draw (at same links but waiting till the places are filled). Use the PBC Online Username list to contact your opponents to arrange a time to play before the deadline for each round and someone to set up the table. Play your 20 boards and wait for a few minutes for the % scores to settle and agree it with your opponents. Email the % results to the listed convener who will update the scoresheet. Repeat for 6 rounds. Voila - we have a result!
